The Attack Pattern Of The Futsal Team Bersinar FF Klaten In The Nusantara Futsal League 2024 Tournament

Abstract

Futsal is a dynamic sport that requires effective tactical strategies, particularly in attacking situations, to create scoring opportunities and achieve optimal team performance. One important tactical component in futsal is the attack pattern, which determines how a team builds offensive play and penetrates the opponent’s defense. This study aimed to analyze the dominant attacking pattern and its effectiveness used by the Bersinar FF Klaten futsal team during the 2024 Nusantara Futsal League Tournament. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using an indirect observation method through video analysis of official match recordings obtained from the Asosiasi Futsal Provinsi Jawa Tengah YouTube channel. The research sample consisted of all attacking incidents performed by the team in three matches, resulting in a total of 56 attacks analyzed. The research instrument used was a structured observation sheet classifying attack patterns into counter attack, build-up play, rotation, pivot, and parallel pass. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques in the form of frequencies and percentages. The results showed that the counter attack pattern was the most dominant strategy with a percentage of 52%, followed by rotation (20%), build-up play (16%), pivot (7%), and parallel pass (5%). In terms of effectiveness, counter attacks produced the highest number of goals with 5 goals, while build-up play contributed 3 goals. These findings indicate that the team relied heavily on rapid transition attacks and still lacked variation in organized offensive patterns. Therefore, the study implies the need for more varied tactical training and structured attacking exercises to improve future team performance.
