This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-confidence and motivation to peak performance of football athletes at Persipa Pati Club. The background of the study is based on the importance of psychological aspects in achieving athletes' peak performance, where self-confidence and motivation are considered as two crucial internal factors. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach with participants as many as 21 athletes who were all members of the Persipa Pati Club. The data collection instrument was a standardized questionnaire and analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test through SPSS software version 29. The results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship between self-confidence and peak performance (r = 0.671; p = 0.001) and between motivation and peak performance (r = 0.674; p = 0.001). These findings indicate that increased self-confidence and motivation contribute significantly to athletes' peak performance. Therefore, coaches and management are advised to integrate psychological aspects in training programs to support the sustainable achievement of optimal performance.Issue
